Which salt We should Consume For Better Health?


"Rock Salt or Normal Salt"


Salt is a very important thing in our life . It gives flavor to our dish. Without salt can't imagine a salty food. In the world many types of salt available . We should know that which one Good for our healthy life. If we know about quality we can use better for us.


Here we are describing the types of salt:

  1. Regular table salt: The most common refined salt. All its minerals removed during refinery. This is a white poison for our body. Now a days everyone is using iodized salt but we don't know that our body needs very small amount of iodine in a day or that we can get from other things also.      
  2. sea salt: Unrefined sea salt is produced from sea water and its not harmful in average amount.
  3. Celtic salt : It is harvested by hands using old techniques and it contains a variety of balanced nutrition. It is chemical free and bleach free salt.
  4. Kosher Salt: kosher salt made from the salt crystals. it is usually not iodized but some brands may contains an anti-caking agents. Mostly this salt using to remove the blood from meat.
  5. Rock Salt (Himalayan pink salt): This salt is known as Sendha Namak also. It contains around 84 minerals compare to other salt.
  6. Black Salt (Kala Namak):  Kala namak is rich in Iron and many more minerals. It's cool by nature.This one is good for many diseases. Black salt also very good for health but because of smell we cant use it for food. In some special food we can use it.


Normal Regular Salt(Table Salt):

Table salt produced from sodium called sodium chloride. This one is very common to use. In Indian grocery every one used to this table salt. This is good in test and less costly than others. It's availability also more than other salt. But this is not ideal according to health.
  • Table salt is not good for circulatory system or respiratory system.
  • This salt increase the risk of heart disease, kidney diseases, thyroid, Nervous system disorders such as Stress Anxiety and depression.
  • Table salt is another cause of high blood pressure that's why Doctors also advised to stop intake of salt.
  • During refined this salt loose the all benefit and they add the artificial minerals in it. that is harmful for human body system.

Table salt is a regular normal salt without any benefit it gives many health issues. 

Rock Salt (Sendha Namak):  

Halite is known as Rock Salt. We can 
found it all over the world. Rock salt is typically formed by the evaporation by the salty water(Sea water). Rock salt is rich in minerals and used in Ayurveda medicine as its balanced Tridosha (Kapha,Vata,Pitta).

  • Rock salt is works for Arthritis and Jaundice problems. Replace normal salt  to rock salt immediately.
  • Rock salt having around 84 minerals and normal salt only 3.
  • Rock salt is good for heart, regulate blood pressure, reduced stress.
  • Rock salt is using in religious fast because of its purity.
  • It remove Gastric problems and help to improve digestion.
  • Rock salt is curing many diseases like rheumatic pains and cramps. gives relief from irritation of insect bite.

Personally I switched from table salt to rock salt before 5 year back and had No major health issue from then. Use natural things and be healthy.
